Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Surveyor who enjoys managing projects from specification through to completion while building positive relationships with residents, contractors and consultants.
The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering an annual programme of planned maintenance works, including:
Planned refurbishment projects including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows and external works
Energy efficiency improvements and sustainability initiatives
Preparing specifications and schedules of work
Managing contractors, consultants and project delivery
Carrying out site inspections and quality assurance
Managing budgets and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
Supporting residents throughout improvement works with a customer-first approach
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience delivering planned maintenance or residential refurbishment programmes
Strong technical knowledge of residential construction and building maintenance
Experience writing specifications and managing contractors
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of construction contracts, health & safety and compliance
A construction-related qualification (HND, Degree or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
Professional membership (RICS, CIOB or similar) would be advantageous but isn't essential.
