Planner – Sheffield£13.88 PAYE per hour 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Are you an organised, customer-focused professional looking for a role with real long-term potential? We’re recruiting an Area Planner for a well-established housing organisation in Sheffield, offering an initial 6-month contract with a strong view to permanent employment for the right candidate.

The Role

As Area Planner, you’ll be the vital link between residents and repairs teams, ensuring responsive repair appointments are scheduled and coordinated efficiently. You’ll work closely with operatives and internal departments to deliver a high-quality service through effective planning, diary management, and job coordination.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Scheduling and coordinating responsive repair appointments across a designated area
• Allocating work efficiently to ensure residents receive a timely, high-quality service
• Managing diaries and coordinating jobs to support the smooth delivery of repairs
• Working collaboratively with operatives and internal teams
• Accurately recording data and maintaining clear records

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a customer-focused environment
• A track record of working to agreed performance targets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Methodical approach with the ability to follow procedures and record data accurately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Experience of working with databases
