Planning Engineer

Position: Planning Engineer – Offshore Wind

Location: London – Hybrid, 3 days office / 2 days home

Work Pattern: Contract – Hybrid

Duration: 12 months

Rate: Competitive and Outside IR35

Start: ASAP - 4 weeks

We’re recruiting for an experienced Planning Engineer to support major Offshore Wind projects, with a particular focus project schedule development. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will develop, maintain and analyse project schedules while supporting wider project controls, risk and commercial activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Develop tender/bid schedules, assessing feasibility and identifying critical activities
• Monitor progress against baseline and analyse schedule deviations
• Produce 90-day look-ahead, weekly and monthly schedules
• Coordinate schedules across engineering, procurement, construction and offshore installation teams
• Undertake critical path analysis, Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
• Support project reporting, contract amendments, variations and claims

Qualifications / Experience

• 5–10 years’ experience in project planning/scheduling
• Offshore Wind, offshore Oil & Gas or major offshore engineering experience
• Strong Primavera P6 experience
• EPCI/EPC project experience advantageous
• HNC/HND, degree or equivalent relevant qualification
