About the Role
As a Plant Engineer, you will carry out planned servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs on a wide range of specialist plant equipment used on major infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carrying out breakdown repairs both in the workshop and on customer sites
- Ensuring equipment meets LOLER and PUWER requirements
- Recording completed work accurately
- Maintaining excellent health and safety standards
- Travelling nationwide when required to support customer operations

About You
To be successful you should have:
- Experience working as a Plant Engineer or maintaining heavy plant or specialist machinery
- Good hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
- A full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel when required
To be successful in this role, you may have worked as a:
Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Heavy Plant Engineer, Construction Plant Fitter, Mechanical Service Engineer, Workshop Plant Engineer, Rail Plant Engineer, Plant Maintenance Engineer, Mobile Service Technician.
