📍 Location Carlisle
💷 £16.00 per hour
🕒 Permanent | 40 Hours per Week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Hygiene Supervisor to join a busy operational team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise hygiene operatives during daily cleaning activities
Allocate tasks and manage staff schedules effectively
Monitor and inspect production areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
Ensure all cleaning processes are completed in line with company procedures
Enforce Health & Safety and COSHH regulations across the site
Support and develop team members to achieve operational targets
Complete relevant documentation and audits as required
Requirements
Previous experience in a hygiene supervisory role within a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment
Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Reliable, proactive, and committed to high standards
