Plant Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Plant Manager to lead their manufacturing facility in Belfast . This senior leadership position is responsible for the overall operation of the plant, including production, safety, quality, logistics, and financial performance. You will drive strategic initiatives, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure the plant operates efficiently and profitably. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing management, a strong understanding of operational best practices, and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production scheduling, resource management, and budget control.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve plant objectives and improve overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead and motivate the plant management team and workforce to achieve high standards of productivity and quality.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all plant functions.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a senior manufacturing management role, such as Plant Manager or Operations Director.
• Demonstrated success in improving plant efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes , supply chain management, and financial principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
