Plasterer

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Plasterer to join Sheffield City Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Calculate materials: Measure areas and estimate the exact amount of plaster, render, and supplies needed for each job.

Prepare backgrounds: Clean, level, and repair uneven surfaces, filling cracks or holes before application.

*

Mix Materials: Blend plaster, cement, or rendering mixtures to the correct consistency using hand tools or electric mixers.

*

Apply wet finishes: Smooth one or more coats of plaster onto interior walls and ceilings.
