We are looking a Plater for a permanent position based with our client in St Helens

Rate of Pay is £18.70 per hour for basic hours.
Responsibilities
Fabrication and development of Steel Fabrication, Framework and Structural Steelwork/metal structures and components according to specifications. Operate workshop equipment including hand tools and power tools such as guillotines, drills, saws, punches and press brakes, safely and effectively. Fully understand and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. Completion of quality procedures. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures/protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality. Provide guidance to Apprentices.Skills
Must be fully time served apprentice trained with a strong fabrication knowledge and experienced fabrication shop background. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication and welding. Proven fabrication competency skills and certification. Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently. Experience in the welding of a variety of materials such as Mild Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminium would be an advantage. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work unsupervised and possess a logical and thorough approach to all aspects of H&S and production.
