Job Description
Working within a multi skilled team of Estates personnel, undertaking of planned maintenance to mechanical plant and equipment and carrying out general plumbing repairs to agreed response times for reactive works.
Ensuring that legislative compliance is adhered to at all times to ensure that the building is a safe environment for patients, staff and relatives.
To undertake the day to day planned preventive maintenance duties and repairs, checks and testing of the complete spectrum of services found in a Hospital building services environment
A multi skilled approach to a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled work across core trade skills and be able in providing a comprehensive service to out staff, patients & visitors attending Queens Hospital.
Undertake work in a safe and effective manner, complying with all relevant safety legislation and procedures and complying with the Trust Health and Safety Policy.
Participate as part of the On-Call team covering UHDB retained Estates
Cross site working required of UHDB retained estates for maintenance of Trust assets
