About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join their established team in Edinburgh . This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of domestic plumbing and heating systems. You will be the face of our client at customer properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to address a wide range of plumbing and heating issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain domestic plumbing and heating systems, including boilers and radiators.
• Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing, drainage, and heating systems.
• Perform emergency repairs to prevent water damage and ensure safety.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure all work complies with regulations.
• Provide clear explanations of work performed and necessary future maintenance to clients.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools required for jobs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe registration, NVQ in Plumbing).
• Strong knowledge of domestic plumbing, sanitation, and heating systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and relevant tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills for clients across Edinburgh .
