Plumbing Lecturer

Job Title: Lecturer - Plumbing & Heating Location: Northampton Start Date: October 2026 Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications

The setting is looking to appoint a Lecturer - Plumbing & Heating on a full-time, permanent basis from October 2026. The successful Lecturer - Plumbing & Heating will teach and support full-time, part-time and short-course students, contribute to curriculum development, deliver practical activities and demonstrations, monitor learner progress and attendance, and support quality assurance processes.

The successful Lecturer - Plumbing & Heating will have:

• An appropriate professional qualification at Level 3 or above
• A Diploma in Teaching and Learning / Certificate in Education or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this
• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade C or above, or equivalent
• Experience working within the construction industry
• The ability to motivate students and deliver high-quality, inclusive learning experiences
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
