PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant - Newham Full-Time September Start

We're looking for an experienced PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 9-18 with PMLD, ASD, and complex physical needs in a specialist Newham school.

Job Title: PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: London Borough of Newham
Pay: 95- 105 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

• Support students aged 9-18 with PMLD, ASD & physical disabilities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Deliver sensory-based learning activities
• Support communication (PECS, Makaton, AAC)
• Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility (essential)

What we're looking for

• Experience as a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant (or similar)
• Strong understanding of ASD, PMLD & complex needs
• Confident with personal care duties
• Calm, resilient, and hands-on approach

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
