About the Role
Our client is seeking an organised and meticulous Policy Administrator to join their operations team in Bradford . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and accurate management of insurance policies throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for processing policy applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations with precision, maintaining detailed records and providing administrative support to the underwriting and sales departments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality administrative support within the insurance sector. This is a key role within a dedicated team in West Yorkshire, focused on efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policy applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update policyholder records in the company's database, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare and issue policy documents, certificates, and other related correspondence.
- Respond to policyholder and broker queries regarding policy details and administrative procedures.
- Liaise with underwriting and sales teams to resolve administrative issues and provide necessary documentation.
- Assist in the generation of management reports related to policy administration and portfolio status.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally within the insurance industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and database software.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to learning about insurance products and procedures.
