Postdoctoral Fellow - Metagenomics Protein Family Discovery

European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) invites applications for a postdoctoral role focusing on metagenomic derived protein families and scalable AI-based classification using MGnify data. The project will co-develop strategies to classify vast protein databases by structure and integrate taxonomic context.

You will work in collaboration with Christine Orengo’s team at UCL to explore correlations across taxa and environments and to identify novel protein families and potential mechanisms
