Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop power systems, including substations, switchgear, and distribution networks, adhering to strict safety and performance standards.
- Perform detailed electrical studies such as load forecasting, fault current analysis, and protection coordination using specialized software.
- Create and review technical specifications, single-line diagrams, and construction documents for power system projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the installation, commissioning, and operational phases of power systems.
- Identify and implement opportunities for system optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in power system design, analysis, and project engineering.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
- Solid understanding of grid codes , regulatory requirements, and best practices in power system engineering.
- Experience with high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) systems is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
