About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform power flow, short circuit, and stability studies for complex electrical networks.
• Design and specify protection schemes and control systems for power generation and distribution assets.
• Contribute to the integration of renewable energy sources (solar, wind) into existing power grids.
• Analyse system performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Ensure compliance with grid codes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with clients, project teams, and regulatory bodies on technical aspects of power system projects.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Power Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in power system analysis and design.
• Proficiency in using power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• In-depth understanding of power system dynamics , protection principles, and grid integration challenges.
• Experience with renewable energy technologies and their grid integration is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
