Power Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform power flow, fault level, and transient stability studies using industry-standard software (e.g., PSS/E, PowerFactory).
• Conduct grid connection assessments and studies for renewable energy projects and energy storage systems.
• Develop and review protection relay settings and coordination studies.
• Analyze power quality issues and propose mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the design and specification of high-voltage electrical equipment and infrastructure.
• Support the commissioning and troubleshooting of power system assets.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline, with a specialization in Power Systems.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in power system analysis, design, or operations.
• Proficiency with power system simulation software is essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical network principles, protection systems, and grid codes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
