Key Responsibilities

• Perform load flow, short circuit, and stability studies to ensure system integrity and safety.
• Develop specifications for power system equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and protection relays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy sources and manage grid connections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power system performance and reliability.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in power systems technology and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in power system analysis and design.
• Proficiency with power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, DigSILENT PowerFactory).
• Strong knowledge of power system protection, control, and stability principles.
• Experience with grid codes and regulatory frameworks relevant to the UK energy market.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
