About the Role
RoleRole OverviewIn brief, the position of MEWPS Engineer involves:
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), services, LOLER inspections, repairs, and manufacturer updates, and maintaining the corporate image of our fleet of rental machines.
- Attending breakdowns on customer sites.
- Accurately recording all necessary checks using a company-issued PDA, following company procedure at all times.
- Communicating effectively with the engineering team and hire office to make sure that the depot maintains maximum machine availability.
- We would welcome applications for this MEWPS Engineer role with the following skills: mobile engineer, engineering, NVQ level 2, plant maintenance, communication, diagnostics, PDI, servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs, and powered access.

Requirements
- You must hold an engineering qualification (ideally in plant maintenance) - minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
- Be competent in electro/hydraulic systems.
- You will be experienced in fault-finding/diagnostics.
- You will be working closely with customers and colleagues, so you must be able to communicate professionally.
- You must be able to prioritise tasks in an ever-changing, demanding hire environment.
- A valid IPAF Operator licence/certification is required
- A valid CAP licence would be desirable
