About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and client-focused PR Account Manager to join their thriving Media & PR department in Stoke-on-Trent . This role involves managing client relationships, overseeing PR campaigns, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing strategic PR plans, and leading account teams to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage multiple accounts, strong organizational skills, and a passion for public relations, contributing to the success of both clients and the agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Develop and present strategic PR plans and campaign proposals to clients.
• Oversee the execution of PR activities, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
• Lead and mentor junior account staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Monitor client budgets and ensure profitability of accounts.
• Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an agency or in-house PR account management role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with PR software and reporting tools is essential.
