PR Account Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and client-focused PR Account Manager to join their dynamic agency in Portsmouth . This hybrid role involves managing multiple client accounts, developing and executing PR strategies, and building strong relationships with both clients and media contacts. You will be responsible for overseeing campaign execution, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the agency's growth. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of PR clients.
• Develop and implement strategic PR plans tailored to client objectives and target audiences.
• Oversee the creation and delivery of press materials, media pitches, and campaign reports.
• Co-ordinate media outreach and manage client interviews and press events.
• Monitor media coverage and provide clients with timely analysis and recommendations.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the PR team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a PR agency or in-house PR role.
• Proven ability to manage client accounts effectively and exceed expectations.
• Strong understanding of media relations, communications strategy, and campaign management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
• Experience in crisis communication is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
