PR Officer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and skilled PR Officer to join their communications team in Glasgow . You will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of public relations campaigns, building brand awareness, and managing media relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in crafting and distributing press releases and media alerts.
• Support the management of media relations and cultivate positive journalist relationships.
• Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports on PR activities.
• Help organize press events and manage associated logistics.
• Conduct research on media trends and identify potential communication opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of social media content to support PR campaigns.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in public relations or a related communications role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the UK media landscape and PR best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a similar field.
• Proficiency with media monitoring software is a plus.
