Practice Accountant

Lancaster | £35,000 | Permanent

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing accounts for a range of SME clients

• Preparing VAT returns and tax computations

• Supporting with personal and corporation tax

• Managing your own portfolio of clients

• Bookkeeping and general accounting duties

• Building strong relationships with clients

• Working closely with senior members of the practice

What we're looking for:

• Previous accountancy practice experience

• AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or QBE

• Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

• Good knowledge of UK accounting and tax

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A client-focused and proactive approach
