About the Role

You will work closely with farmers to implement and manage cutting-edge solutions, including GPS guidance, variable rate application, drone surveying, and data analytics. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage precision agriculture programs for diverse farm operations.
• Operate and maintain advanced agricultural technology, including GPS receivers, soil sensors, and drones.
• Analyze farm data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing input usage (fertilizer, water, pesticides).
• Conduct field assessments and soil sampling to inform management decisions.
• Provide technical support and training to farmers and farm staff on the use of precision ag equipment and software.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in agricultural technology and sustainable farming practices relevant to Tyne and Wear .

  Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in precision agriculture , data analysis, and farm management software.
• Proficiency with GPS systems, variable rate technology, and remote sensing tools (e.g., drones, satellite imagery).
• Strong understanding of crop physiology and soil science.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Sunderland region and surrounding areas, often working in field conditions.
