About the Role

Our client seeks a forward-thinking Precision Agriculture Specialist to implement and manage advanced technology solutions on their farms near Oxford . You will be responsible for managing GPS systems, variable rate application technology, drones, sensors, and farm management software to optimize crop inputs and yields. Key Responsibilities

• Implement, calibrate, and maintain precision agriculture equipment and technologies.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret farm data (yield, soil, weather, imagery) to inform decision-making.
• Develop and manage variable rate application plans for fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides.
• Utilize drone technology for crop monitoring, mapping, and data acquisition.
• Train farm staff on the use of precision agriculture tools and systems.
• Advise on technology integration and optimization for improved farm management.

Requirements

• Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with precision farming technologies, including GPS, GIS, and VRT.

• Knowledge of drone operation for agricultural applications is highly desirable.
