About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and inspiring Preschool Teacher to lead and manage a preschool room in their vibrant childcare center in Leeds . You will be responsible for creating an enriching educational program that prepares children for their next steps in education, fostering a love of learning through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with educational standards and prepares children for school readiness.
• Lead and mentor other nursery staff within the preschool room, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and development, documenting observations and creating individualized learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and challenged.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's achievements and offering support for home learning.

Requirements

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, EYITT) or a Level 4/5 Diploma in Childcare.
• Significant experience as a preschool teacher or early years educator, with a proven track record of success.
• In-depth knowledge of curriculum development, child psychology, and assessment methods.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities, ensuring smooth daily operations.
