About the Role
Our client is looking for an inspiring and qualified Preschool Teacher to join their early learning centre in Cambridge . This role is dedicated to fostering a love of learning in young children, preparing them for their transition to primary school through creative and play-based education. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, managing a classroom environment, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. This hybrid role offers the rewarding experience of hands-on teaching with opportunities for remote planning and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
- Observe, assess, and track children's progress, providing feedback to parents and contributing to reports.
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive social interaction and self-discipline.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child's development and well-being.
Requirements
- Recognised early years qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, QTS).
- Experience teaching preschool or early years settings.
- Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and child safeguarding principles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance in-person teaching with remote planning and administrative tasks.
