Press Brake Operative

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team, supporting the production of precision components within a busy manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating press brake machinery, working from engineering drawings and job instructions to produce components to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical, production-based work and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent results. Previous experience with press brakes and working from engineering drawings would be beneficial.

Job Description

Operate and sometimes set press brake machinery to produce components to the required specification Read and follow engineering drawings, work cards and job instructions Carry out basic quality checks throughout the production process Ensure tooling and machinery are used correctly and kept in good working condition Complete production and quality records accurately Report any machine faults, defects or quality issues to the relevant team members Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with 5S standards Press Brake Operator Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Some experience setting press brake machinery would be beneficial Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and work instructions Good attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate where required Press Brake Operator
