Position Summary: Working within a busy manufacturing and fabrication environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machinery and supporting the production of a range of fabricated metal components.

• Operating CNC press brake machinery safely and efficiently
• Setting and operating machinery to produce components to specification
• Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Measuring and checking finished components to ensure quality and accuracy
• Carrying out general metal fabrication duties as required
• Handling and positioning sheet metal and fabricated components
• Supporting the wider production team to meet deadlines and production requirements
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment

Candidates will have:

• Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery
• Experience within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and quality standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and conscientious approach to work
• Full UK driving licence desirable
