About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective media relations strategies.
• Write and distribute high-quality press releases, statements, and media kits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media representatives.
• Manage media monitoring and reporting, analysing coverage and impact.
• Act as a key point of contact for media enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
• Support spokespeople in preparing for media interviews and engagements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Press Officer , PR Executive, or similar role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a strong understanding of media formats.
• Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and managing media relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the media landscape in Northern Ireland and the UK.
• A degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline.
