Role Description
This is a full-time Pricing Specialist role based in London with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office presence with the option to work from home part of the week. The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for preparing and managing quotations for network connectivity and ICT services, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive pricing for wholesale and channel partners. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing supplier offers and cost structures, maintaining pricing databases and tools, and collaborating with sales, finance, and procurement teams to optimize margins and win rates. The role involves responding to customer and partner pricing inquiries, participating in RFP/RFQ responses, and supporting deal structure decisions for complex global network solutions. The Pricing Specialist will also monitor market trends, benchmark pricing against competitors, and recommend pricing strategies that align with business objectives and profitability targets.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret cost models, evaluate complex quotations, and support data-driven pricing decisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clearly explain pricing proposals to partners and stakeholders.
- Foundational finance knowledge to understand margins, revenue, and profitability, and to contribute to commercial decision-making.
- Customer service and sales-oriented approach to support partners, respond to pricing requests promptly, and contribute to deal success.
- Experience in pricing, commercial operations, or bid management in telecoms, ICT, or a related B2B environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and pricing tools (e.g., Excel, CRM/CPQ systems) and comfort working with large data sets.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
