Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Flexible Supply / Day-to-Day / Short-Term Cover / potential long term
Key Stage: KS1
Pay: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience
Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching work across Leeds this September?
We are recruiting KS1 Cover Teachers to join our growing supply team, supporting a large network of primary schools across Leeds and the surrounding areas.
Rather than being tied to one school, you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of welcoming primary settings, covering planned and unplanned staff absences in Year 1 and Year 2.
Whether you're looking for regular work throughout the week, a couple of days to fit around other commitments, or the flexibility of day-to-day supply, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a KS1 Cover Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils
Follow lesson plans and resources provided by the school
Create a positive, supportive and well-managed classroom environment
Adapt confidently to different schools, classes and routines
Support pupils' learning and development throughout the school day
Provide continuity and consistency while the class teacher is absent
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with teachers who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate UK-recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching within KS1
Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Are enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable
Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
Are passionate about providing a high standard of education, even when stepping into a class at short notice
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
