Primary School Teacher - Key Stage 1

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Primary School Teacher to lead a Key Stage 1 class in their welcoming school located in Norwich . This role is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children as they embark on their formal education journey. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that ignite curiosity, develop foundational skills, and ensure the holistic development of each child. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum.
• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress, using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support each child's learning and well-being.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to foster a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.
• Utilise a range of teaching resources and methodologies, including creative play and practical activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within the Key Stage 1 phase is essential.
• A solid understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for early childhood education.
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
