Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils using various methods.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and safe classroom environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil well-being and academic achievement.
• Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the school's continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and intellectual growth.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within the primary education sector, preferably with a proven track record of raising attainment.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Scotland and assessment strategies.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
