We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work on a day-to-day and short-term basis in schools across Colchester. Supply teaching offers the flexibility to fit around your lifestyle while allowing you to gain experience in a variety of school settings.

The Role

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and lesson plans provided by the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and encourage pupil engagement.
• Adapt confidently to different school environments.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A flexible, adaptable and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
