East London | Full-Time Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with Autism and complex learning needs? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary SEN Teachers for a highly regarded specialist SEND school in East London for a September 2026 start. This welcoming and supportive school caters for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and provides a highly personalised approach to learning. Students are grouped according to their abilities and communication needs, with the majority working below National Curriculum expectations. The school follows a structured pathway model and uses the SCERTS Framework to support communication, emotional regulation and social development.

The Role

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs Teach pupils with Autism and additional SEND needs across a range of abilities Adapt the Primary Curriculum to support pupils working below age-related expectations Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff and senior leaders Promote communication, independence and social development through a nurturing and structured approach Create an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive and achieve success We Are Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum Experience working with children with SEND, Autism or additional learning needs A patient, resilient and positive approach to teaching Excellent classroom management and communication skills A genuine passion for inclusive education
