SEN Teaching Assistant – Tower Hamlets (Primary School) 📍 Location: Tower Hamlets, East London 💼 Contract: Full-time, long-term placement We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) — providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role

* Provide individualised 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with a range of SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language, or social/emotional needs) * Assist the class teacher in adapting activities to meet each child’s learning style and needs * Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere * Encourage social and emotional development through patience, empathy, and consistency

Requirements
