About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Primary Teacher to join one of our partnered schools that caters to children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils who thrive on individualised teaching approaches and support.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and SENCOs.
- Track and report on pupil progress using EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Contribute to a whole-school ethos that puts pupils’ wellbeing first.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a primary setting.
- Strong understanding of autism, sensory processing and behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication, empathy and resilience.
- Team player with a commitment to inclusive education.
