Primary School Teacher – Hemel Hempstead

Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Hemel Hempstead area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about working with primary-aged children and is committed to creating an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to helping every pupil achieve their full potential while making a positive contribution to the wider school community.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lessons, monitoring and assessing pupil progress, and maintaining positive communication with parents and carers. There will also be opportunities to get involved in extra-curricular activities and wider school initiatives, helping to enrich the learning experience for all pupils.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum

Track, assess, and report on pupil progress

Liaise with parents and carers to provide updates on pupil development

Contribute to extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs

Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best possible outcomes for pupils

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Primary classroom experience

A passion for supporting pupils’ learning and development

Excellent classroom management skills

A strong commitment to inclusive practice

Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding procedures
