We're recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Cwmbran. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced TAs, graduates and candidates looking to build a career in education.

The Role

📚 Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups ✏️ Assist teachers with engaging lessons and classroom activities 🌟 Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence 🧩 Support pupils with additional learning needs where required 🤝 Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff 📝 Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Who We're Looking For

✅ Experience working with children or young people is essential (work, placement or volunteering) ✅ Patient, reliable and adaptable approach ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills ✅ Passion for supporting children's learning and development ✅ Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential ✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
