About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the delivery of engaging and creative activities that align with the National Curriculum.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can develop essential skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher to prepare learning materials and manage classroom routines.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to children, including those with additional needs.

Requirements of a Primary Teaching Assistant

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably supporting children within Key Stages 1 & 2.
• A caring and patient approach, with a passion for education.
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
