Help Young Learners Develop Confidence and Core Skills

We're looking for a Primary Tutor to support children across West Sussex through personalised 1:1 tuition.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide tailored educational support to primary-aged learners who require alternative provision or additional help to access learning. Many of the pupils we support benefit from a nurturing and engaging approach that helps develop confidence, strengthen core skills, and encourage positive engagement with education.

Location: West Sussex Key Stage: Primary (KS1 & KS2) Start Date: September Hours: Flexible Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles Experience supporting primary-aged children Good understanding of the primary curriculum Ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs Experience supporting children with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within West Sussex
