An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established UK engineering consultancy delivering specialist geo-environmental and ground investigation solutions across a wide range of infrastructure, commercial and residential projects. Based in Birmingham , you'll become part of a collaborative team known for technical excellence and innovative problem-solving.

As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer , you'll be responsible for:

• Leading ground investigations and geotechnical assessments.
• Managing projects from tender through to successful delivery.
• Producing high-quality technical reports and providing expert advice.
• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working with the design team on Geotechnical Design projects

• A relevant degree and significant geotechnical or geo-environmental experience.
• Strong project management, leadership and report writing skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• A full UK driving licence.

• Residence in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Birmingham office.
