About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and performant backend systems and APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
• Mentor and coach junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system limitations.
• Drive innovation by exploring and introducing new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in backend software development, with a proven track record of designing and building large-scale systems.
• Expertise in one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#) and associated frameworks.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
