Principal Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and public realm enhancements.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop a team of civil engineers and designers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Undertake complex engineering calculations, risk assessments, and value engineering studies.
• Contribute to the preparation of bids and proposals for new project opportunities.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognized professional institution (e.g., ICE).
• Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, contract administration, and financial control.
• Advanced knowledge of relevant design codes, standards, and legislation.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in business development.
