Job Description
Our client, a leading consultancy, is currently seeking a Principal Civil Engineer (Water) to join their expanding Water Infrastructure design team in Bristol on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading design engineering efforts for diverse water infrastructure projects, ranging in value from £1 million to £50 million
Developing detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and reports for drainage infrastructure (including SuDS) and wastewater schemes
Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of all project elements
Managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle
Supporting business growth through bid and tender preparation
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clientsJob Requirements:
Chartered Engineer status or working towards attaining it with a relevant institution such as ICE or CIWEM
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design
Proficiency in project delivery at all stages including detailed design, contract preparation, tender assessment, and contract administration
Ability to communicate fluently and positively both verbally and in writingBenefits:
