Key Responsibilities

• Take overall technical responsibility for the design and delivery of significant civil engineering projects.
• Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions for infrastructure challenges.
• Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers, technicians, and designers.
• Oversee the preparation of complex design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success and compliance.
• Conduct advanced risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project challenges.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) as a Civil Engineer, with a significant portion in a principal or lead role .
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large, complex infrastructure projects, such as transportation or water management.
• Strong knowledge of relevant UK and international engineering standards and codes of practice.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent chartered status is essential.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
