About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Principal Cloud Solutions Architect to join their innovative technology team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to design and implement large-scale cloud strategies for a diverse range of clients. You will be instrumental in defining cloud architectures, guiding technical teams, and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. You will be a key advisor, driving best practices and fostering a culture of technical excellence across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead technical discussions with clients, understanding their business requirements and translating them into effective cloud strategies.
- Develop and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and operations teams.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance our offerings.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
- Deep expertise across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex, highly available, and disaster-tolerant cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, data management, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
