About the Role

Our client, a distinguished name in Management Consultancy , is actively recruiting a Principal Consultant specializing in Digital Transformation to be based in our Newcastle upon Tyne office. This senior position will be responsible for guiding clients through their digital journeys, from strategy development to execution, ensuring they achieve significant competitive advantages. You will leverage your deep expertise in digital technologies and business process re-engineering to deliver transformative solutions, playing a key role in advising senior leadership teams and driving innovation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of comprehensive digital transformation strategies for clients, aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives.
• Assess current digital capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, proposing cutting-edge solutions.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring successful delivery of digital initiatives, including ERP, CRM, and cloud-based solutions.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
• Develop compelling business cases and financial models to support digital transformation investments.
• Stay abreast of emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into client recommendations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in digital transformation consulting, with a focus on strategy and implementation.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale digital transformation programs and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
• Deep understanding of key digital technologies such as AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and data analytics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering).
