Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build and manage robust data warehousing solutions and data lake architectures.
- Optimize data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency using big data technologies .
- Implement data governance, quality, and security best practices across all data platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data needs and provide solutions.
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the overall technical strategy for data management.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala .
- Hands-on experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to guide technical teams.
